Summertime, and the livin's easy

 The lunar eclipse.

 Playing with Mom's phone

We've been enjoying a pretty laid back summer. Monday through Thursday mornings we have swim team practice for Tucker and Charlotte and lessons for Henry and Paisley. After that we usually swim in our own pool once or twice. There has been the rare day and Sundays where we don't swim, but usually that is our only plans. The kids aren't excited that they usually have to run errands with me now instead of missing out on them while they're at school. And I'm not especially thrilled about it either. I've continued my once a month girl's nights which are the best break for me where I get to laugh so hard and eat tasty food. Sonic happy hours are also our friend. Thursdays are the kids swim meets, I am so proud of the way they compete and enjoy it even though they don't get first place ribbons. They are both pretty strong swimmers and it is pretty cute to see them race! Here are some pictures from this summer. Since I got Instagram I have been taking a lot more photos on my phone, I just wish they were better quality.

Chloe isn't the only chubby one around here

So, here we go again. I am breastfeeding exclusively, and some people say that they lose weight while nursing, but I didn't seem to get that perk. Nursing just seems to make me more ravenous then ever.
I gained some weight before I got pregnant and almost 30 lbs while prenant and have hardly lost any since Chloe's birth. That puts me about 40 lbs over what I want to be. It freakin sucks. I hate getting dressed each day. I hate that it is swimsuit season around here. I hate looking in the mirror. I don't want to be in pictures. I hate being in this place again. I can't imagine when I can get to the gym since Trent has been working early, that hasn't been an option- not that I can imagine giving up any precious sleep right now anyway. The kids are out of school now and I am not going to pay for 5 childcare passes. It is up to 100 degrees in the evenings already which makes it hard to go jogging. I guess it is time to start doing work out videos at home. Not my idea of fun. And watching what I eat. Not easy. I think I will try Weight Watchers. Wish me luck.

Chloe is two months old

I can hardly believe it. She is growing so fast. She is so chunky and chubby and wonderful.
Each month I am going to take pictures of her in the brown chair, so I can watch her growth. I can look at this girl all day long I tell ya.
