Swingin' Saturday

Saturday afternoon we had beautiful weather. We went to Freestone park where we fed ducks, played on the playground, and Tucker and Charlotte even got to go on a kid sized ferris wheel. It was so fun having a nice afternoon as a family.

Sunday Trent and I spoke in sacrament. Well mostly me. The meeting started 5 minutes late and there were 2 youth speakers and a musical number. So by the time I was finished Trent had about 3 minutes to speak. He didn't get to share much of what he had prepared, but bore a beautiful testimony. His parents came to listen and sat with the kids, so I enjoyed the meeting very much, except for the butterflies.

ooh, I haven't had to speak in Sacrament in like, 5 years. I think I'd have more than butterflies!

What a great weekend!

Why'd they schedule so much during sacrament meeting??

The park is so fun! Freestone is the bestest park :)

I bet your talk was amazing. I always get scared talking in front of people...even if only 3 people are in the room!

Isn't this weather wonderful?? I hope it stays this way for a while!

I DO need to go to Mexico!! Jimmy will have a new job, though, and probably not enough vacation time... we'll have to see what his days off are! (Jimmy's never been either...)

Love your happy park pictures! :)

I sooo don't like speaking in church...I'd rather sing ANY day!

Don't listen to Lauren...she gives the most amazing talks ever! :)

I just spoke in Sacrament like 2 weeks ago but instead of scheduling 2 youth speakers they just made me the youth speaker... I thought I'd get over that being 22 and all but I guess you're not really an adult until you get married. I should work on that.
