I've been collecting fabric for a while now to make Paisley a quilt. I really wanted to have it done for her first birthday on Saturday, so this week I kicked it into high gear. I pieced together and sewed the entire front piece at last. Now I just need to put it together with the batting and the back piece of fabric. I don't want to tie it. I want to have someone quilt it with a machine that does cool quilting patterns. Does anyone know someone in my area with a quilting machine or a place I can have it done for a reasonable price? Please help!
It is far from perfect. There is a pucker mark in one spot and some places aren't even, I can see tons of mistakes, but I love it. I loved watching it come together and I can't wait to see the finished product.
I've only attempted making a quilt
once before. It was much smaller too.

Paisley is darling.
Here she is at Grandma's on Sunday.

Look, I'm big.
Oh Crap! How do I get off this thing?

*laughs* at commentary of Paisley. Elora does the same thing on several different items everyday. It annoys me. Darling quilt!

Great job on your quilt! Love the fabric choices.
Love the photos of your funny and feminine little Paisley girl. She steals my heart.
I love the fabrics you used in the quilt! I wish I knew how to machine quilt- it's going to be so cute!

Happy almost birthday, Paisley.
wow, you and your family are gorgeous. I think you may be right about the insane part but I dont know about the nice :) I have really enjoyed doing the projects, but I am afraid of trying the block quilt, cause I don't really know what I am doing. :)
