Turkey Day and More

Every Thanksgiving we go repelling with Trent's family in the morning. Those of us who aren't large with child, anyway. It is a good time for all. I love this tradition. This year we had dinner with my in-laws and I brought the mashed potatoes-they weren't half bad if you ask me. I have never cooked Thanksgiving dinner or even had to contribute since we used to always be traveling to be with family, so it was fun to help.
Then FridayAbbie and Sophie came over for a while, which was great and Tucker loved Sophie! Then that evening all of my dad's siblings were in town and we had a belated birthday celebration for my Grandma's 80th! It was a good time with soups and pies and a lot of family we don't see very often.
On a side note, I am losing my mind. Yesterday morning when I opened the cupboard to get Tucker a cereal bowl, I found the cottage cheese in there. Yes, I put it away there instead of back in the fridge.

Sounds like a great weekend! I like that tradition to repell. I want to do that some day.

I'm so jealous Robin! Can I be a part of your family and come visit for holidays? My older kids were in Texas, so Sei and I with the 2 little ones ate with our friend's extended family. Man, I miss family!!

I'm not too pleased with your picture choices of me, but revenge is sweet...

That was a fun party-I don't think I have seen that many Brimley's in one place since Grandpa passed away. It was really nice and Grandma seemed to be having lots of fun.

did abbie darken her hair or is it just the lighting?
