Its True

I am a baby making machine. Its true. Although I have known I am pregnant for weeks now, ( and many of you have known since Christmas) today it became real. I am twelve weeks along now. I had a check up this morning. Though it is my third time around (my mind still reels at the realization that I will be the mother of 3 so soon!) it brings as much excitement and anxiety as ever. Today I heard my new baby's heartbeat for the first time. The tears that came to my eyes surprised me a little. I had been waiting for this, wanting to hear it, knowing it would make it all so much more real, and it did. I just love hearing that quick little beat, knowing that a tiny new life has truly begun. What a miracle it all is! What a blessing to have a body that can do such a thing as this! The divinity of it astounds me.

yea for baby heartbeats! I called you this morning (just cause I felt like calling, no reason to return my call), that must have been where you were.

YAY!! Wow- 12 weeks along already!? I remember you announcing you were 12 weeks along with Charlotte and I kept my mouth shut because I was only 7 1/2 weeks along with Livie. Sorry we can't be preggo pals this time around. Good luck and CONGRATS!! (Sorry I almost spoiled it in my earlier comment... oops.)
